New developments in a Muskogee family's fight for justice.

A Muskogee County grand jury has been looking into Scott Cannon's death in January of 2004. The Muskogee County District Attorney refused to file charges against the man police arrested at the scene, saying he stabbed Cannon in self-defense.

The News on 6 learned Wednesday afternoon the grand jury did return an indictment in the case. However, it's sealed, which means the name of the person indicted will not be released until arrested.
