A multi-car traffic accident on Highway 169 near 56th Street North keeps crews busy early Tuesday morning.
Tulsa Police say about 2 AM a driver ran off the road and hit a fence. Some other drivers stopped to help, causing a traffic slowdown and a PT cruiser ended up hitting a pick-up truck. No one was reported injured.
About thirty minutes later, a Ford Explorer ran off the road near 169 and 36th Street North. Tulsa Police say it appears the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel. Rescue crews used the Jaws of Life to remove the driver from his vehicle, but he refused to be taken to the hospital.
No word on his condition.
