New developments concerning an Owasso attorney cited for contempt of court.

Kathy Fry failed to show up for her client's sentencing Thursday, so at Friday's hearing, the judge ordered her to pay a $500 fine. Fry says she only missed the sentencing because she was in court on another matter.

Her client, Lonnie Deckard was sentenced to life in prison for the December 2002 shooting death of Dayna Kizzia. Deckard got life as part of a plea deal after he admitted he was paid by Kizzia's husband, to murder her.

Brad Kizzia was convicted in the murder for hire scheme earlier this week.
