TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The Catholic Diocese of Tulsa is sending a representative to Rome for the funeral of Pope John Paul.

Bishop Edward Slattery will leave for Rome Tuesday to attend the Friday morning funeral and the church's Chancery Office will be closed to allow staff to watch the service.

Slattery is to return to Tulsa on Sunday.

Leaders from around the world, including President Bush, are also expected to attend the service.
