OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Governor Brad Henry has named veteran Tulsa County District Judge Jane P. Wiseman to the Court of Civil Appeals.

Wiseman will fill the Judicial District Number One, Office Number Two post vacated by Tom Colbert, whom the governor appointed to the Oklahoma Supreme Court last year.

She's been a district judge for more than 20 years. Wiseman received a bachelor's degree from Cornell University, a master's degree from the University of North Carolina and her law degree from the University of Tulsa.

Before becoming a judge, she was an adjunct professor of law and was in private practice.
