OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Authorities say a metal building housing a shop and several other structures were damaged or destroyed when a tornado touched down in Seminole County Monday.
Herbert Gunter is director of the Seminole and Seminole County emergency management agencies. He says there were no injuries reported when at least one twister touched down at the intersection of Oklahoma Highways 99 and 56 near Cromwell about 3:30 PM Monday.
At least two tornadoes were reported in northwestern Oklahoma near the Kansas border, where some media outlets reported damage but no injuries.
Gunter says the roof was torn off the building and overhead storage fell down on equipment inside. He says the structure wasn't insured.
Gunter said other damage included a mobile home that was knocked off its foundation, a carport that was knocked over, another metal building with its roof taken off and small outbuildings that were destroyed.
Officials say tornadoes also were spotted near Manchester, Wakita and Medford in Grant County.
