Covers of love, a project aimed at not only warming the hearts of cancer patients but it teaches a valuable lesson too.

Webster High School students delivered 28 hand made blankets to the Tulsa Cancer Treatment Center of America Friday.

The family and consumer science students learned how to sort materials, make patterns, and use computerized embroidery machines to create the blankets. They also wrote poetry into the blankets, in hopes of giving inspiration to the patients.

The blankets will be sent home with cancer patients as they recuperate.
