OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The board governing the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs has appointed an interim director to run the agency until a permanent replacement can be found.
Board members on Friday appointed Deputy Director Gary Bolin to the post.
Richard DeLaughter was fired after a series of state and federal audits questioned the agency's handling of contracts and millions of dollars in grant funds.
Bolin will receive an annual salary of $82,100.
The board also outlined a plan for finding a permanent director that includes sending out a notice of the job opening nationwide.
