Newly crowned Miss America, Jennifer Berry, is celebrating her homecoming to Tulsa Friday.

The Oklahoma native held a news conference Friday, then she was off to a Kiwanis luncheon and later she will host a gala at the Oklahoma Aquarium.

The News on 6 caught up with the very busy Miss America Friday morning and she says being away from Tulsa for the last month has made her miss her hometown very much. Jennifer Berry: "everybody is so kind has always supported me while i've been here so i just miss everything about it. I miss the restaurants, the food, my family and friends."

If you'd like to welcome Jennifer home yourself, she'll be at the Jenks Public Schools Performing Arts Center Saturday at 2 PM. She will be performing with former Miss Americas in a Miss America Revue.
