Former state Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher is released from jail after posting a $50,000 appeal bond.
Oklahoma County Jail officials confirm Fisher was released at 10:48 PM Tuesday.
The 66-year-old Fisher was in jail for nearly two weeks after his conviction February 8th in a campaign-corruption case.
Fisher was sentenced Tuesday to three years in prison and fined $20,000 for embezzlement and perjury.
A judge allowed him to be home in Tulsa during the appeal.
Fisher's next trial is set for September 11th.
