Tulsa Police asking the public for patience in a rape investigation that could lead them to a break in Tulsa's serial rape cases.

News on 6 anchor Scott Thompson says police detectives say it's too soon to connect Gary Graham to all of the serial rapist's victims.

Tulsa Police arrested 36 year old Gary Graham Monday in connection with a rape case from September of 2003. They believe he cut through a screen on an apartment window and grabbed a 9-old-year girl by the throat, in her bed.

A couple of tips pointed police to Graham. He's being held in the Tulsa County jail on burglary, attempted kidnapping, and attempted child molestation complaints. Still, detectives say it's too early to know if they've caught the serial rapist.

Last year, Tulsa Police released several composite sketches of what victims think the serial rapist looks like. Some of those sketches appear to be similar to Graham.

Again, Tulsa Police are not yet connecting all the serial rapist's attacks to Gary Graham, but it's something they're investigating.
