Tulsa road crews got out overnight to spread salt and sand on slushy spots.

Tulsa's Public Works Department says between sand, salt, and employee overtime, the city has spent more than $200,000. They've also had to order more salt, at one of the highest prices ever.

The city of Broken Arrow almost ran out of sand and salt over the weekend. Broken Arrow says those stockpiles have been refilled, and they're ready for any future winter weather.
