MILLERTON, Okla. (AP) -- A Wright City man is killed and his wife is in critical condition after their car was hit by a tractor-trailer at a highway intersection in McCurtain County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Arthur Crosby was driving southbound on State Highway 98 Wednesday when he ran a stop sign and was hit by a tractor-trailer.
The OHP report says Crosby was pronounced dead upon arrival at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel. Crosby's wife, Tina, was transferred to a hospital in Texas, where she was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the semi and a passenger were not injured.
