OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Langston University Marching Pride Band was among one of 10 groups to win $10,000 in a battle of the bands sponsored by Honda.

The band entertained about 70,000 people in Atlanta's Georgia Dome with drill routines, drum lines and high-stepping dancers and drum majors.

In addition to the monetary prize, Langston also brought home a Honda Battle of the Bands trophy.
