OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Officials say a construction worker died after he fell headfirst about 25 feet onto a concrete slab.

Oklahoma City Fire Major Johnny Schofield says 40-year-old Alex Gonzales was working on a church that's being built in Oklahoma City when he fell headfirst Friday.

Authorities say he was rushed to OU Medical Center where he later died.
