NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Number 12 Oklahoma opens Big 12 Conference play on the road Saturday at unranked Nebraska.
Winners of three straight and five of their last six, the Sooners are coming off a 50-to-47 road win over SMU on Tuesday.
OU held the Mustangs to .327 field goal shooting. But it was the lowest OU point total in a road victory since December 2nd, 1968, when John MacLeods Sooners won at Centenary 45-to-38.
Oklahoma shot point-390 from the field against SMU and committed a season-high 19 turnovers, but posted a 41-to-21 advantage on the boards.
Senior forward Taj Gray registered his third double-double of the year with 15 points and 10 rebounds. But Senior guard Terrell Everetts up-and-down season continued with just three points.
