Water levels at many lakes around Oklahoma are extremely low right now due to drought conditions and the water levels at Grand Lake are about to get worse. That's because GRDA needs to fill the Holway Reservoir.
The reservoir was drained for repairs. To fill it, they need to raise the level of Lake Hudson by draining water from Grand Lake. That means lake levels on Grand may be lowered by more than 2 ½ feet.
GRDA has sent a letter to many dock owners on Grand Lake warning them about the lower levels.
