UNDATED (AP) _ A Guthrie man is dead following a two-car collision in Payne County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Margarito Perez was killed in the accident on State Highway 51 about a half-mile east of Interstate 35.

Troopers say Perez was a passenger in a car that made a left-hand turn into the path of a pickup truck.

The driver of the car is hospitalized in critical condition while the pickup driver was treated and released.
