Norman Police are investigating the abandonment of a newborn at Normanâ€™s Regional Hospital.

Police say a hospital employee found the baby boy about 5:30 PM Monday. Investigators believe the child was left in the hospital's education center.

The child was taken by hospital personnel to the emergency room and was admitted to the hospital.
