A man who moved to Tulsa to escape the wrath of Hurricane Katrina is without a place to live once again.

Fire crews were called to the Pomeroy Park Apartments near 68th and Lewis around 12:30 AM Tuesday.

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen of the lower level apartment. The second floor apartment was also damaged.

The cause is under investigation.
