A generous Green Country businessman steps up to help an Owasso basketball team.

The team organized a benefit tournament for one of its players whose father died in a car crash last month. They raised $4,500 in the first two days of the tournament, but over the weekend, organizers say someone stole every penny.

A News on 6 viewer turned team's misfortune around. They tell us, a local businessman wrote a check to cover the missing money after seeing the story on 6 in the Morning, so the boy and his family can get the help they need.
