Tulsa's Bryant Elementary School has a new partner in education.

Red Crown Federal Credit Union adopted the school Thursday afternoon in a special assembly. They'll join two other businesses as Bryant's partners in education.

The credit union has already donated more than $10,000 worth of school supplies to Bryant. The folks at the school say the program helps them succeed in ways that wouldn't be possible without sponsors.

Principal Barbara Mayes: "It is mentoring, it's financial, it's giving and providing incentives and awards to children and to teachers."

The credit union also passed out 350 long sleeve T-shirts to teachers and students Thursday to help promote school spirit.
