Trial delayed for former McAlester city manager

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- The federal embezzlement trial of former McAlester City Manager Randy Green is being delayed until February 6th.
A federal grand jury in Muskogee has indicted Green on five counts of embezzlement and his trial was to start January 3rd but a federal judge has granted a defense request for a continuance.
Green faces up to 50 years in prison and fines of up to $1.2-million if convicted on all five counts.
Green has pleaded innocent to the charges and is free on bond.
