FLETCHER, Okla. (AP) _ A tip from the widow of a slain Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper has led to a 10-year prison sentence for a Fletcher man.

Andy Nelson King was arrested in May after Linda Green saw him at a Texas Wal-Mart buying items used to make meth.

Green is the widow of trooper Nikky Green, who was killed after a December 2003 traffic stop.

After seeing King buy the items, Linda Green notified Cotton County authorities, who stopped King after his return to Oklahoma.

A search of King's vehicle turned up more than one-thousand dollars worth of over-the-counter medication used to make meth. The 41-year-old was sentenced yesterday to 120 months in prison.
