WAGONER, Okla. (AP) -- A man and woman were killed when they drove into the path of a train Friday near Wagoner.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Phyllis Jacoby of Wagoner was driving a 1995 Ford west on a gravel road and failed to yield to an oncoming train.

The highway patrol says Jacoby died at the scene.

Passenger William Teddy Jacoby was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he died of his injuries. He was 62.

The highway patrol was uncertain of the relationship between the two.

No one on the Union Pacific train was injured.
