OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two Oklahomans were among a group of 4 Marines who were killed earlier this week while fighting in Iraq.
Department of Defense officials say 21-year-old Corporal Jeffry -A- Rogers of Oklahoma City [pictured left] and 20-year-old Joshua -J- Ware of Apache [pictured right] were killed along with two others Wednesday while conducting combat operations as part of Operation Steel Curtain in Ubaydi, Iraq.
All four Marines were assigned to Camp Pendleton, California.
An Oklahoma soldier died on Tuesday in Taji, Iraq.
Military officials say 24-year-old Travis Grigg of Inola died when his Humvee was hit by an improvised explosive device.
