Green Country flight enthusiasts have a new place to learn about Tulsa's aviation history. The new and improved Tulsa Air and Space Museum opened to the public Saturday.
The new location by the airport has 11,000 more square feet. It's also a lot cooler. Katheryn Pennington: "Because we didn't have air-conditioning, we couldn't have traveling exhibits, and a lot of the pieces that have been donated to the museum are in archival storage, and we couldn't bring them out."
Museum officials have a whole week of events planned to celebrate the grand opening.
