An exit off of US highway 75 remains shut down, after a train derailed and hit its support column.
Shortly after 2 AM Friday, three rail cars hopped of the tracks, clipping a street column under the 21st Street exit ramp. An engineer with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation inspected the damage and decided it was not safe.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the exit will remain closed. The 23rd Street bridge was not affected by the accident.
Drivers who use the 21st Street exit should use either Southwest Boulevard, or the 41st Street exit.
