Tulsa Police's sex crimes detectives are investigating two late Wednesday, early Thursday morning break-ins in north Tulsa.

Officers say sometime between 9:45 PM and 11:15 PM Wednesday, an intruder climbed through a window of a home near Ute and Knoxville. Tulsa Police say a 2-year-old child was in the room, but they don't believe he was assaulted.

They don't know for sure if he was taken from the room or not. Investigators did find a chair outside the window.

Tulsa Police are also looking into another possible break-in on North Vandalia around 12:45 AM Thursday. Two women who live there awoke to the sound of an 18-month-old child screaming. They found him in his room, unharmed.

The two women told police they heard what sounded like their dining room window being slammed shut. The women say that window cannot be locked.

Tulsa Police are not sure if the two break-ins are related or if they are tied to the serial rapist. They don't have descriptions in either incident. Detectives are investigating seven confirmed assaults on children in the Tulsa area.
