A first look at Tulsa's new and improved air and space museum. Vision 2025 money helped pay for a new, larger location by the airport. The new space has 11,000 more square feet which means more room for new exhibits and classrooms.
Katheryn Pennington, Tulsa Air and Space Museum: "We've moved everything from the old hangar to the new facility and we've hung some of the aircraft that we had on the floor before.. because we've had some more aquisitions of aircraft.. as well as we want to have some additional hands-on activities for kids that promote the physical science aspect using the aviation and space theme."
The new Tulsa Air and Space Museum opens to the public next Saturday. They've planned a whole week of events to celebrate.
