OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The founder of a program that promotes respect among students and teachers will be recognized next month.

Great Expectations founder Charles E. Hollar is one of seven people from across the nation to receive the George Washington Medal of Honor.

The medal is the highest award given by the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge National Awards Program.

Hollar will be presented with the award on November 10th at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club.

Previous honorees include Chief Justice William Rehnquist, Walt Disney, John Wayne and Herbert Hoover.
