Peace activist Cindy Sheehan's protest in Washington DC has sparked similar events in other cities across the country, including one in Tulsa.
Members of the Tulsa Peace Fellowship met in a peace march across the Arkansas River. They remembered the US troops killed in Iraq and called for an end to the war. Armed with signs and candles, the group walked across the pedestrian bridge at sunset Wednesday.
Organizers say they honor those who gave their lives to the war, but believe the US shouldn't be in Iraq.
