Arrests are made and a Tulsa mother and her child are found safe following an abduction and kidnapping.
It started around 7:30 PM Wednesday when a woman saw her daughter and granddaughter being abducted by several men near 71st and Peoria. She called Tulsa Police.
Investigators later tracked the victim's cell phone to a hotel near 31st and Memorial and arrested four suspects. Tulsa Police also found some drugs and $20,000 in cash. Hours later, a Henryetta Police officer made a traffic stop and found two other suspects along with the woman and child. Tulsa Police Captain Rick Helberg: "This is one of those situation where we had the makings of being something very bad and it may have turned out to be that, but an officer doing his job in Henryetta stopped them.â€
Tulsa Police say the woman and her baby are now safe. The investigation continues.
