The medical examiner's office is determining whether a body found near Wynona is that of 82-year-old Geraldine Frey.

Osage County authorities believe they found Frey's body inside her car after nearly three months of searching. The Osage County undersheriff tells us a hunter found the car Saturday, about a mile off a county road.

Her purse was inside the car, and investigators do not suspect foul play.

Frey had a doctors appointment in Tulsa on July 26, the day she disappeared, but she never showed up. She was last spotted at a Sperry gas station.

Authorities say they're waiting for the medical examiner to confirm the identity of the body.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
