STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Former presidential hopeful and retired General Wesley Clarktold Payne County Democrats that their party is the one that promotes the right kind of values.
At one point in his speech Thursday, Clark walked away from the podium and held up a nearby American flag and said it doesn't belong to the Republican Party.
The retired 4-star Army general spoke at Brayfest, an annual Democratic celebration in Payne County.
The Arkansas native ran for president in 2004. He won Oklahoma in the presidential primary election.
