TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa-based Williams has signed agreements to transport oil and natural gas from the Gulf of Mexico for Chevron Corporation and Kerr-McGee Oil and Gas Corporation.

Kerr-McGee Oil and Gas is an affiliate of Oklahoma City-based Kerr-McGee Corporation and owns 37.5 percent of the project.

Kerr-McGee and Chevron announced earlier this week they'll invest about $900-million to develop the project. The companies expect the field will produce about 30,000 barrels of oil and 30-million cubic feet of gas per day by the first half of 2008.

Williams expects to have pipelines in place by the middle of 2007 to transport the oil and gas.
