Two teenagers in Mayes County face serious legal problems.
They are accused of shooting several head of cattle just outside of Pryor. Rancher Granville Martin says one of his calves was shot and killed by someone with a deer rifle. At least two other cows were also injured.
Two teenagers are charged with several counts of animal cruelty. What makes the case even more surprising is the shootings were videotaped. Martin says it was almost like someone was on a safari. “They stopped, got out of the van. Got their scope and shot the calf right in the head and of course he went down just like that."
The Mayes County Sheriff's Office isn't commenting yet because of the on-going investigation.
