WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) _ Oklahoma Congressman Frank Lucas wants to block a plan to close Farm Service Agency offices in Oklahoma and across the country.

Lucas calls the Agriculture Department's plan to shut down 30 percent of the offices nationwide ``bone-headed.'' The congressman says he'll introduce legislation to stop the proposal.

Lucas says the Agriculture Department's plan would close 19 of the 65 Farm Service Agency offices in Oklahoma.
