Rescue and relief crews from Oklahoma are keeping a close eye on Hurricane Rita.
The Refuge Society, which is based in Tulsa, will send a search team to Texas as Rita gets closer. The group also sent trained dogs to New Orleans and Mississippi to help with recovery efforts.
Sam Honnold with the Refuge Society: "We can go in with the dogs and run or even drive through debris fields around the perimeter and they know if there is a person in there, either living or dead."
The group is headed to Texas and will wait to see where they are needed the most.
