OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State Senator Jeff Rabon of Hugo says lawmakers should reimburse counties $15-million before considering future tax cuts.
Rabon says the state owes the money to counties for reimbursements that haven't been made during the past three years. He says counties depend on the money to fund local government, schools, health departments, libraries and career-techs.
He says that before lawmakers talk about putting limits on growth revenue, tax cuts or funding any new programs, they need to do right by our counties.
