GUYMON, Okla. (AP) -- A 62-year-old trucker was killed Saturday when his rig overturned on a state highway in Texas County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Charles William Davis of Velma died in the 3 PM crash on Oklahoma Highway 136.
The crash occurred about 12 miles south of Guymon. Troopers say Davis' vehicle was northbound when it entered a curve, lost control and overturned, coming to a stop on the driver's side.
During the roll over, the top of the cab was ripped off and Davis was ejected about two feet from the vehicle. Davis was pronounced dead on arrival at Guymon Memorial Hospital.
Troopers say Davis was not wearing a seat belt.
