Tulsa Police are warning that Hondas may soon top the list of most often stolen vehicles in the city.
They could surpass pick-up trucks for the first time in nearly 10 years. Tulsa Police have seen a rash of stolen Hondas in recent months. Most are Accords and all of them were made in the 90's.
The good news is police recover most of the stolen Hondas, which leads them to believe the cars are just being driven then dumped. Tulsa Police Sgt Jeff Cealka: "With Hondas, especially older ones, they gonna have to do something cause they're so hot, something besides just lock it and take the keys."
Tulsa Police say a popular place for people to both steal and drop off stolen Hondas is in the 21st and Riverside area.
