ALVA, Okla. (AP) -- A 44-year-old man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Woods County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Bryan William Heaton of Alva was pronounced dead at the scene of Sunday morning's crash.

The incident occurred on a county road about three miles east of Alva. Troopers say Heaton's pickup truck was southbound when it lost control and went off the right side of the road, came back across to the left side, veered into a ditch, came back onto the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.

The patrol says Heaton was ejected from the vehicle. Troopers say he wasn't wearing a seat belt.
