TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ It's now official that Annika Sorenstam will play in the John Q- Hammons Classic and try for her third straight win and fourth in five years in the Tulsa area.
Sorenstam has won the past two tournaments at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow and won the 2002 tournament at Tulsa Country Club.
Sorenstam said last month she planned to return to defend her title and now she's on the LPGA Tour's official list of players for the tournament. The complete list of players is expected next week.
Sorenstam has two wins this year including the US Women's Open.
The Hammons Classic is set for September 4th through 10th.
