Ottawa County authorities are trying to identify a man whose body was found along the Will Rogers Turnpike, near Miami.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers think the man was hit by a car in the middle of the night and dragged nearly 400-feet.

Not far from the body, troopers found a tent and an abandoned car. They're checking to see if they're connected to the body.

The victim's name has not been released.
