OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Twenty Oklahoma projects are earmarked in a congressional spending bill that covers the departments of Health and Human Services and Labor and Education.
Citizens Against Government Waste, which has established an online database of ``earmarks'' that can be searched by state, reports there are more than 18-hundred earmarks in the bill.
The Oklahoma projects total more than 6.5 million dollars.
Among the projects listed are: $500,000 for the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation to support the ``College for All'' pilot program for at-risk youth; $400,000 for Integris Health Systems for equipment at rural hospitals; and $300,000 for the Oklahoma City National Memorial Foundation for community education and outreach programs.
