OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma's state parks are about to undergo some renovations.
The state Tourism and Recreation Commission will spend more than $12-million on rehabilitation projects such as new playground equipment, renovation of park cabins and remodeling restrooms.
The project also calls for repairs to park water systems and efforts to control erosion.
State parks director Jeff Erwin says many of the projects will start almost immediately.
