Savvy shoppers are saving a bundle in tonight's consumer report. Green Country retailers are offering "same as tax free" discounts this weekend.

Bargain-hunters packed Promenade Mall to snatch up the savings. It's the same as shaving-off almost 10 percent from your purchases. Woodland Hills Mall is offering the same discountss. Lots of folks are taking advantage of the deals to finish up back-to-school shopping. Ed Bedient came down from Hominy to outfit his boys for back-to-school.

Ed Bedient, Shopper: "We have three sons, one's going to college, one's an 8th grader and one's a third grader. So we're just trying to get everything we need for everybody.

Dozens of stores in Bartesville and Muskogee are also going "tax-free" this weekend.
