TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Two more deaths in Oklahoma are being blamed on the heat to bring the toll to 18 for the year.
The state medical examiner's office says a 78-year-old Ada woman and a 43-year-old Yale man died because of the heat.
Kevin Rowland with the medical examiner's office says the woman was found dead on her couch. Her home had a working air conditioner but it wasn't turned on.
Rowland says the other victim is Kenneth Morrow of Yale who died while working on an oilfield site in McIntosh County.
Very hot temperatures are to continue through the weekend. The National Weather Service says Saturday and Sunday are to be partly cloudy with highs from the mid 90s to 103 degrees both days.
