A report on the Tulsa Police Department's troubled SWAT team has been released. It recommends better staffing and training for team members.
The report also points out deficiencies in the team's technology and communications. The report outlines 24 recommendations to improve the safety of officers and residents. Some recommendations have already been put into place.
An interim report requested by Tulsa Police Chief Dave Been led to him being put on administrative leave. He was re-instated after Mayor Kathy Taylor took office.
